Palliative, End-of-Life and Specialist Home Care

Verina Daly Care pride themselves on the End of life care we provide. Our Caregivers go through relative training to be able to support people who are in the last months or years of their life and be there for their family.

Our palliative care helps you to stay in the place where you feel most comfortable, surrounded by loved ones.

We will ask you about your wishes and preferences and take these into account as we work with you to plan your care. We will also support your family, carers or other people who are important to you. We are always at the end of the phone 24/7.

Alzheimer's and Dementia Care

Here at Verina Daly Care we understand it can be a difficult time when trying to respond to behaviour patterns that seem out of character. Our team of friendly trained caregivers can be here to support you in the situations caused by Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Families are now looking to home care providers for support with Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, rather than making the decision to choose a residential care home, allowing their loved ones to remain at home where they are in familiar surroundings and environments.

How to Cope with Dementia Restlessness

Behaviour changes can occur in the middle to later stages of dementia. One common behaviour change is dementia restlessness, such as pacing, fidgeting and wandering.

It is important when you see changes in behaviour to understand why or what has triggered the behaviour. Behaviour changes may be someone trying to communicate how they feel.
